Questioning the integrity of the military will get you tagged as a traitor

I understand where you are getting at. Don`t get me wrong here, an order is an order. But if every soldiers just say, "well, we were ordered to shoot our own people, so we just shoot". Same excuse as Khmer Rouge. No one will take responsibility. Look at the Arab Spring Uprising. And compare it to Libya and Syria. It is because the military is just carrying out their orders. Now if you look at Tunisia and Egypt, the military have refrained from shooting their own civilians.

Look, there is no easy answer to everything but if we continue to say, "we were just carrying out orders", there is no more judgement in humans. Would you really club an old lady on the head? Really? because you were carrying out an order?

But you failed to tell me why the military is used to evict people. That would only mean they are part of politics. You are right in general with the military branch. But that is not the same in Cambodia. The military branch is part of politics.

Besides, you are not quoting the whole writing but merely taking single words out and re-write a new sentence.

I find it funny when someone questions the integrity of an institution it automatic means as insulting. It started out as stating how we can fight against a bigger force to accusing me of insulting our soldiers, then onto having a political agenda and attacking the CPP. I believe the CPP and Hun Sen have a vacancy for personal advisors. Anyone that believe in questioning an institution qualifies as defaming or insulting should apply there. They is a party of don't defame, criticize or even question us. You'll make best friend with the CPP MP Cheam Yeap. LoL........all I can say was what a trip!

To continue my rambling:

I never said Thailand is the best of the best military, only that they are more bigger and better-equipped. And so it went onto that I was degrading our soldiers during a time of war. (haha) then someone suggested why won't I donate money. Even further someone suggested I should go there to see first hand that they are well equipped. Why should I? Articles on here is not true? Then pictures that have surfaced of Hun Sen's best soldiers all dressed up for a military show. Let's not forget the so called generals who are commanding there with fat gold rings on their fingers and neck. OMG! I now know how the oppositions and many NGO's feel now. To all the other Khmers who want to help the country change for the better, DON'T! Questioning the integrity of government organizations or officials will get you tagged as a traitor.

Peace!
